To advise on mortgages, protection, buy-to-let and commercial finance, we typically collect: your name, contact details, date of birth, identity documents, employment and income details, expenditure, existing borrowing, health information (for protection cases), and details of any property or business involved in the transaction.
How we use your information
We use your information to assess suitability and recommend products, submit applications to lenders and insurers on your behalf, comply with our regulatory and anti-money-laundering obligations, and keep in touch about your case and ongoing reviews.
Who we share it with
We share information with lenders, insurers, conveyancers, valuers and our network/regulatory bodies as needed to progress your case. We never sell your data, and we don't share it for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
How long we keep it
We retain client records for a minimum of six years following the end of our relationship, in line with FCA requirements, after which we securely delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, restrict, port, or in some cases delete the information we hold. You can also object to certain types of processing.
